2022 Favourite Podcast Shows on Spotify

I cannot fully express how much I appreciate all of these readily available, incredible podcast shows that are offered today. Today, I want to share my go-to podcast shows on Spotify.

I know, I know. I should be actively listening to these episodes but honestly, as a busy mama of two small kids and working from home, time goes by VERY fast. And I can never get my entire to-do list done in 24 hours. Listening to at least 1 podcast episode a day is medicine to me. It’s a non-negotiable activity that fills me up in some way – mentally, emotionally, or spiritually.

So today, we’ll check out my top 5 motivational, 5 mindfulness-related, and 5 bonus shows that get integrated somewhere during the week.

2022 Podcast Round-Up

Whether there are 5 mins or 30 minutes, a podcast episode is usually going in my earbuds. Are you an avid podcast listener as well? Which ones are your go-to podcast shows? Share in the comments below or in my Instagram post.

Just wanted to let you know, I am not sponsored or an affiliate of these podcast shows. I’m just a podcast enthusiast who is hungry to learn and grow from these remarkable experts who are gracious to share their insights and interviews. Enjoy!

Motivational Podcast Shows

First up we have “Think Fast, Talk Smart” hosted by Matt Abrahams, lecturer of Strategic Communication at Stanford Graduate School of Business. He thoughtfully discusses how to convey thoughts and ideas clearly in diverse settings. I love to listen to his show while I slowly pour my morning coffee and prepare my workspace for the day.

Online Marketing Made Easy” with Amy Porterfield is jam-packed with digestible strategies to succeed with your online business. Amy has numerous digital courses, webinars, and tips across platforms. If you’re starting up an online business or curious about how to get started, this podcast show is a must-listen! Check out her website here to see all of her offerings.

Jenny Blake’s podcast show “Pivot” offers heart-centered conversations for business owners. If you’re a solopreneur who is trying to navigate having a career but not losing your mind-body connection, you are going to love her show (and books!) She humanizes being a solopreneur. I love the reliability of her content and full-on transparency without glorifying being a small business owner. Here’s the link to her website for a deep dive!

It’s “Your Next Move” to listen to Kimberly Brown’s podcast. I love the strategies that she shares to build up your career rather than hustling to get by. She’ll get you thinking about how to work smarter instead of working harder. Find out more about her on her website.

And finally, “Business Accelerator” hosted by Michael Hyatt and Megan Hyatt Miller. Each episode is roughly an hour of jam-packed tips and insights that’ll help you get ahead on your productivity and boost your leadership skills. This father-daughter duo offers actionable tips that they’ve learned along the way of building up their businesses. If you don’t have access to Spotify, you can get the episodes here.

Mindfulness Podcast Shows

When I lived in Japan and didn’t have like-minded friends to feel a sense of belonging, I got hooked on podcast shows. As an English teacher in the countryside of Okayama prefecture, commuting to the 4 schools ranged from 20 minutes to 1 hour. So I could easily listen to 1 full episode in the morning and 1 episode on my drive home. These mindfulness podcast shows have offered me valuable content, laughter, and community (on their social media accounts).

I love Devi Brown of “Dropping Gems“. She has a gentle yet powerful energy that is so contagious. Just from the first 5 minutes of her episode, I’m usually relaxed or in tears (tears of joy and acceptance). Your soul will be thoroughly nourished and aligned. Devi is the Chief Impact Officer at Chopra Global and a wellness educator. Not only is she a wealth of knowledge and pure wisdom but she is also present on this planet to support mental health and intergenerational trauma. I cannot praise her work enough! For daily tips and grounding insight, you don’t want to miss her Instagram account.

Almost 30 has been my go-to podcast show for over 6 years. Krista Williams and Lindsay Simcik are hilarious. They are honestly one of the rawest and real podcast hosts I have ever heard. I love that they don’t really hold back on what they share with their community – topics from spirituality to productivity to extraterrestrial existence. Another thing that really stands out is that they ask their guests really refreshing questions that I haven’t heard others ask their guests. Here’s the link to their website. You’re going to find tons of resources, discount codes, and offerings about their community and accelerator classes.

Morning Microdose” is also hosted by Krista Williams and Lindsay Simcik from Almost 30. Although the title of the show can be misleading, these mini-episodes are not about microdosing psychedelics. These bite-sized 15-minute episodes are about mindfulness, mind-body connection, conscious communication, and other transformative topics. So you’re actually getting microdoses of reflective conversations! These short episodes are so perfect for a mindset shift or just a morning pick-me-up. I know, you’re going to love them!

Gretchen Rubin’s podcast show will get you just a bit “Happier” with her thought-provoking conversations and insights. You can also find tons of incredible articles on her website if you prefer to read over listening in podcast format. You may have seen her bright and cheery #1 bestselling book, “The Happiness Project” in local bookstores. She is a wealth of knowledge and life experiences. Check out her Explore page for more resources, articles, podcast updates, and more!

And finally, for the mindfulness round-up, I’m finishing off strong with Amber Magnolia Hill’s “Medicine Stories”. Amber’s podcast was definitely one of my go-to podcast shows while living in Japan. Without much of a spiritual or herbalist community to connect with, these episodes helped me stay on my esoteric path and keep evolving with my tarot reading. If you’re into herbalism, ancestral/lineage, land stewardship, and other transformative values in the realm of spirituality and conscious living – this is a podcast show you won’t want to miss. Her website is also full of incredible resources and articles!

Bonus Podcast Shows

These are miscellaneous podcast shows that range from health and wellness, tarot, eco-friendly living, and digital marketing. I can’t make a 2022 round-up post without including these phenomenally informative and engaging podcast shows.

I won’t be going into each podcast show and host for these bonus selections. But I surely couldn’t write a blog post about podcast shows without introducing these ones too! They are all informative and full of golden nuggets to take with you during the day!

These are shows that share insights and knowledge on:
– Nutritional well-being
– Tarot reading
– Digital Marketing
– Eco-conscious living
– Unconscious patterns of human behaviour

If you’re intrigued by any of those topics, I’ve stated them in the order listed in the image.

Where to find the podcast shows?

The majority of podcast shows are on Spotify, Apple Music, and Youtube. But if you can’t find what you’re looking for, just visit the host’s website. You’ll often see a section on their menu bar that says “Podcasts”. Once you click that, you’ll be taken to exactly where you need to go to experience their podcast episodes.

I hope you enjoyed this blog post on my 2022 podcast show round-up!

If you’re also into podcasts, I would LOVE to hear what your go-to shows are. I am always open to checking out other shows.

Happy holidays, friends!
