What is Conscious Parenting?

One word that evokes what conscious parenting is to me :
Presence.

I love how Renee Jain from Psyche Central words it here:

Conscious parenting is based on the idea that children have the power to spark a transformation so deep within a parent that we begin to learn and grow alongside them. This topic is extensive and would be really tough for me to top Renee Jain’s article. I highly suggest you check it out if you are wanting to dive a little deeper on this topic.  Parenting is a major rites of passage for us all to shed more layers towards becoming even better versions of ourselves.  Our children are our little shamans who guide us through to taking many steps back to re-connecting with our inner child and moving past all sorts of traumas to find healing, hard engrained programming, and

Dr. Shefali Tsabary has two phenomenally mind and heart-opening books that has paved the way to becoming supportive, compassionate, and understanding parents.  I have thoroughly read through both numerous times.  If you are to start with one, I highly suggest you grab a copy of The Conscious Parent.
